Aristois doesn't affect your inventory at all. If it's not in the controls settings, then that is an entirely different issue. The setting is below the hotbar options and called "Open/Close Inventory"

Mod conflict. Most likely CustomMainMenu, RandomPatches, or VanillaFix. Delete them if you have any of those.

Aristois does not affect your connection to Minecraft servers. It's related to something else.

try manual installing by clicking the download tab, scroll down to manual zip file click it, then click the version you want, download and extract the folder out of the rar file and put it in the versions file by going to the windows search bar and type run, click run and put in the bar %appdata%\.minecraft\versions then click the enter button on keyboard then put the aristois download folder in versions, goto the minecraft launcher and click installations, then click new installations and change the versions by clicking latest release and choose the aristois version and click create and play on that installation and done no problemo if it helped.

when i download the client it download automatically aristois 1.17

That's not possible. When you download from the website it gives you Aristois-Free.jar. It's an installer for all versions 1.8.9-1.17.1. You select your version after running it.
