@sharpstring Mc version? Do you use optifine/shaders or any other texturepacks that may overwrite this?

@test123 hi there once you set up your cape on the website don't forget to delete your asset folder (located on .minecraft) and wait for 10 mins for the cape change

@alfredo It's most likely that you'll need to delete .minecraft/libraries/EMC/1.16.4/configs. Try deleting it and then restart the game, and see if the issue is fixed (by changing some things and restarting).

@basse338 i was having this same problem but i relised that i accidently had internal shaders on. turn it off and it should work.

@deftware apparently specifically api.minecraftservices.com is unreachable, the auth and session servers are fine, and so is the main api.

surely not being authenticated wouldn't cause aristois to crash?
then offline accounts wouldnt work with it

Edit:
Apparently so, tunneling minecraft over SSH fixes the issue, wonder what causes that specific api to IP ban, because that seems to be the case

if you don't have optifine, sodium also causes this

It currently does not work as intended in 1.16.x and we are looking into it.

The command works fine tho, by doing .vclip <height>

@infinitynightx If you have optifine, you can solve this by changing the "Smooth Lighting" toggle in the video settings (not the % slider, the toggle)

@__crocodile__ I'm not sure but either way this is probably a good feature to add.

@samusesaternos Changing your username will not affect anything Aristois related. Just make sure you log out and back in to the launcher after changing it.
