You need java installed on your machine. Right-click the file and select "open with Java", or open terminal and then use the command java -jar and drag the Aristois jar file in.

Can you be more specific? Do you have a log?

but the aristois versions downloaded before worked perfectly and the launcher is totally vanilla and is recognized as vanilla too

You can use the manual zip files at https://aristois.net/zip/1.16.5 (or replace mc version)

Your gift card has declined the transaction, not Stripe. There's not much we can do about this as it's not on our end. If you're using a debit card that requires a PIN code, you cannot use it. You also must ensure the gift card is registered to use online via the provider.

We support payments through Stripe, via a debit/credit card. You can try filling it in as a normal card there, but if it doesn't work, I'm afraid we cannot currently accept payments from PSC. We also support Google and Apple pay.
