It's a different issue. 1.8.9 is a beta version

Make sure you also have a profile for the vanilla version (Ex: If you want to run 1.19.3 Aristois, make sure the 1.19.3 folder exists in versions)

Also make sure that it's not an old profile (The profile may still exist when the version folder doesn't)

Otherwise the json is corrupt or missing in some way that it can't be read properly. I'd recommend reinstalling with the installer

Your computer is blocking the file from being downloaded. Edit firewall/av settings or click the URL to download the file and place in Path:

The error is most likely due to a firewall or antivirus program preventing the launcher from downloading files. It's not supposed to contain the .jar file

Your files are outdated. Delete libraries/net

Remove EMC from the mods folder

I got it working, just had to turn on the dimension thing init

This mod doesn't use Fabric, so it would only be possible to use on 1.8.9 or 1.12.2 with Forge

None stand out, so you'd have to figure it out by trial and error
