How did you install it? Which profile are you using in the launcher?

OptiFine conflicts with both Lithium and No Fog. Either use only OptiFine or only the other two

1.16.4 and 1.16.5 have the same protocol version, otherwise you can use something like Multiconnect. We do not have a 1.16.4 build
