That method does not work on 1.16.5+. Instead you can use Freecam and ClickTP to click through the wall

I assume you mean you’re suggesting that we add a mod to pick up things further away?

It’s not possible to increase the pick-up range for items. Instead it would require the player to move around rapidly which would be extremely detectable by servers and plainly not worth adding

Hey, we can't really offer any support for that. Aristois does not ship with any custom natives libraries, so any issue you may encounter is likely due to Minecraft itself (or fabric). Aristois does run on Linux

You can disable the custom Aristois menu by right clicking the Properties mod under the Gui category and then disabling the Aristois menu

Don’t try opening the file through the web browser. To do the Java error either reinstall Java or use a different version

Entities not loading can be caused by using Fabulous graphics. Use Fast or Fancy instead.

As for the crashing, please include your latest.log file from when the crash occurs

AutoFish works best on the default settings. You should first make sure Jesus is disabled and that you’re not too far away and high above the water (same level works best).

If it does not reel in at all, you should increase the splash range in small increments. If it feels in but is too late or early you should adjust the reel delay.

If you installed with the Aristois installer from aristois.net it should work out of the box. Make sure that you installed it to the correct Forge instance that you are launching. You should be able to press the right shift button on your keyboard to open the Aristois mod ui. Just tested it on my end and it seems to work without any issues.

If you are unable to open the mod menu with right shift, please send your log file by starting the game and then closing it after its fully loaded. The log found in .minecraft/logs/, called latest.log

If you have any other Forge mods installed, remove them to see if that resolves the issue

How so? What version are you using it on an what type of terrain?
