Set your graphics to fast or fancy

I've had this issue myself while, but only while using shaders with Iris. Nothing seems to fix it, so I'll just wait for a bit more compatibility with 1.19 to drop.

It's caused by shaders in general. It's affected by Fabulous graphics, which is a shader, and shaders via OptiFine/Iris.

It's very unlikely that we will be releasing any compatibility patch soon for Iris. The only solution would be to disable EntityESP or disable the shader.

You misunderstand. EntityESP was not enabled. I know that issue, and this was something else. Shaders weren't being properly rendered for entities and they looked semi-transparent, with an obfuscated effect on the terrain. Even happened with everything disabled.

I fixed it by completely reinstalling MC/Aristois/Iris and deleting my .minecraft folder. Probably an issue leftover from something else in the past few years of playing MC on this machine.

I'm aware of the issue. It's an issue with shaders themselves interacting with Aristois and occasionally with other render mods. Some shaders (vanilla and optifine) will resolve when disabling EntityESP and others will not work regardless.

If you managed to fix it while still using iris then it was most likely a Minecraft option or shader setting.

The thing is, it was a fresh install of Iris and I tried it with many of the most popular shaders (also fresh installs). I deleted all the shader settings files beforehand as well. I kept my MC configs the same as well. No clue how I 'fixed' it, but a completely fresh install of everything except configs worked for me.
