Update from, and to, shown hashes.
[16:52:19] [main/WARN]: SHA-1 not matching for Aristois.jar, expected FF84A7A571E018472A5D241E4036F05B26911D4E but got 0A68F71076B2F310B4842A7F809CFC6C382B2384!
Old version had no issue, current version crashes on loading.
Edit:
latest.logPastebin apparently hates log files

I would try deleting .minecraft/libraries/EMC/1.16.5/ (save your config first if desired) and then .minecraft/libraries/me/deftware/EMC-F-v2/latest-1.16.5/EMC.jar
-
@dyiing unfortunately im having the same result
-
@dyiing ah actually, removing the config as well worked, shame i have to set that up again, oh well
-
@dyiing nope, it was a trick
did not work
even deleting every single file for aristois and installing again from scratch gives the same crash
-
@obscenity is it the official launcher? I noticed it's not a real account
-
@dyiing yes its the vanilla launcher, I just replaced my username in the logs.
-
@obscenity Was more referring to [17:55:49] [main/ERROR]: Failed to verify authentication
com.mojang.authlib.exceptions.AuthenticationUnavailableException: Cannot contact authentication serverHave you tried removing all of the fabric mods?
-
@dyiing yes, there are no more mods, even the baritone and stuff is removed
-
@obscenity Not an Aristois issue, looks like it can't verify the mojang session server. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it's not related to us. You have to make sure it can connect to Mojang (I.e. stop getting the "Cannot contact authentication server" error)
-
@deftware yeah i just replied to the other thing about that, dont know why it says that, works just fine outside of aristois, eg other mods and vanilla, browser, curl, etc.
-
@obscenity I'm not sure what the problem is, it's nothing related to us
-
@deftware apparently specifically api.minecraftservices.com is unreachable, the auth and session servers are fine, and so is the main api.
surely not being authenticated wouldn't cause aristois to crash?
then offline accounts wouldnt work with itEdit:
Apparently so, tunneling minecraft over SSH fixes the issue, wonder what causes that specific api to IP ban, because that seems to be the case
