      Disclaimer
      This post covers how to install Aristois to the new 1.19 snapshot versions. Please note that snapshots are highly experimental and bugs should not be reported. This guide is based off 22w15a. To check if your snapshot is supported, please look here: https://gitlab.com/EMC-Framework/maven/-/tree/master/me/deftware/EMC-F-v2

      Before following the instructions below, reinstall 1.18.2 Aristois to ensure that your files are not outdated.

      Video Tutorial
      This video tutorial covers the written instructions below (recorded for a 1.18 snapshot, but the process is exactly the same). Please refer to them while watching.

      Instructions
      1.. Navigate into your Minecraft directory, and enter the versions folder.
      2.. Duplicate your 1.18.2-Aristois folder and rename it to 22w15a-Aristois.
      3.. Go into the 22w15a-Aristois folder and rename 1.18.2-Aristois.json to 22w15a-Aristois.json. Also rename the .jar to 22w15a-Aristois.jar.
      4.. Open the 22w15a-Aristois.json file in your favourite text editor, we need to modify it a bit for it to work correctly.

      • First, remove the following text in the file:
      {
         "name": "me.deftware:aristois:loader",
         "url": "https://maven.aristois.net/"
      },

      • Then, change "me.deftware:EMC-F-v2:latest-1.18.2" to "me.deftware:EMC-F-v2:17.0.0-22w15a".
      • Finally, replace all instances of 1.18.2 with 22w15a. It should appear four times in the file.

      5.. After making the above modifications, save the json and go back to your Minecraft directory.

      6.. Go into the libraries/EMC/ folder and then duplicate the 1.18.2 folder. Rename the duplicate to 22w15a.

      7.. Now, start the launcher and create a new profile with the release "22w15a-Aristois" and start the game.

      If your game crashes
      If you crash when creating a world after following this, firstly ensure that your .json file is correctly set up. You can find an example of the 22w15a json here.

      Secondly, navigate to .minecraft/.fabric/remappedJars/ and delete the corresponding "minecraft-1.19-alpha" folder. Then start the game again and see if it works.
