Installing Xaero's Minimap on Aristois
-
@dyiing Hi, i've just installed Aristois, no idea if it was Fabric or Forge, i'm a donor and just downloaded the donor version and kept clicking next until it finished.
It came with a few mods, like SeedcrackerX and Baritone and a performance mod, but they're not really useful to me.
But it did came with a Fabric API when it was installed, so i thought Fabric plugins would work.
Am i doing something wrong? And about the ModMenu, can i install it by simply dragging it and dropping it to the Aristois's add-on folder?

If you did not specifically install Forge mod loader and then click the Forge box in the installer, you're using Fabric.
To add xaeros minimap to Aristois, place it in
.minecraft/libraries/me/deftware/EMC-F-v2/latest-(mc version)
. It will not show up in the Addons Marketplace after you install it.If you want to use ModMenu, it needs to be placed in the same location.
If it still doesn't work, send a screenshot of the directory where you put the mods.

@dyiing I'll try using the ModMenu, but upon reading the ModMenu's page, it requires the Fabric Loader and Fabric API (Which is already included in the Aristois's Addons Marketplace.
Where do i install the Fabric Loader's jar? The default install location is
/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft, do i need do change that default location to .minecraft/libraries/me/deftware/EMC-F-v2/latest-(mc version) or keep it as it is?
