Aristois and eglow problem

Hello,
I need help with an issue involving Aristois and eGlow.
I installed a standard Aristois client and a Forge minimap.
Since then, I can’t see the glow effect on myself or others on the server. What could be the problem, and is there a solution for it?
There is no texture pack installed.
