Can't get Altening to work within this?

So I've got version 1.20.2 installed and everything works fine but the Altening alt manager, I've brought access for Altening for a month but am struggling to get it to work in anyway after following all what seem to be outdated tutorials, After the removal of Mojang logins
I go onto options, Alt manager and click Altening & have added my unique API key, I can then put in the Alt generated token and clicking redeem seems to do nothing, I can click Random and the character changes but the name doesn't?
Whats going wrong? Does the Altening still work?
(I haven't got anything in my mods folder for Altening, Is it built into the latest version or am i missing something? -
TheAltening does not work past 1.18. There is a warning about this when you open it
The devs have not made a statement on it, but it's unlikely to continue working again on later version

@dyiing Is it possible to download a version before 1.18 for artisois and this will work with altening?

Hey guys kinda a month late but the thing is that I was using the Altening with Aristois while playing minecraft version 1.20.1 until yesterday really and it was working fine.
I am using the Tlauncher and the only change that I made was updating it, although I don't think that should make a big difference, I still have the old versions exe files but that didn't work too. For the record I am running some fabric mods But they are only client side.
Until yesterday I go into the Altening site, get a free alt token, go into the game paste it click redeem and it works changes the name, skin and I have no problem entering premium servers. Now when I click redeem it show the dots "loading" then reverts to saying redeem and that's it.
It worked on 1.20.1 for like 2 weeks until yesterday and I also didn't see any warning on the Altening site neither when going in the alt setting in game. Can you please help?

It has not worked at all since 1.19, so this is not possible unless you were using cracked servers. The method used for authenticating the token no longer works since chat reporting features were added to the game, and the devs have not added any sort of workaround to this.
It cannot, has not, and will most likely never work past 1.18

Well I don't want to say that you're lying but I don't really understand. As I'm sure I used it as I said recently. It doesn't work as in I can't redeem it or it won't let me in premium servers.
I guess it is worth saying that the server I was playing was private I guess, not a big server with no moderators or such
I don't know how worth it is this screenshot but that's me on the server using an alt from the altening and the mc version is right below the nicknames. The file names of the screenshots gets stores as the dates and times.
Now if you want to accuse me of tempering there's nothing more to say.
I'm not really demanding a fix as I'm just more curious about an explanation if you have any that's all.
Just in case I'm sorry if I've sounded offending.
