wont launch

when i try to launch it says launching failed what is the fix

Make sure you also have a profile for the vanilla version (Ex: If you want to run 1.19.3 Aristois, make sure the 1.19.3 folder exists in versions)

Also make sure that it's not an old profile (The profile may still exist when the version folder doesn't)

Otherwise the json is corrupt or missing in some way that it can't be read properly. I'd recommend reinstalling with the installer
