I have installed it properly via forge. When I launch the server of my friends in direct connection, I arrive well on the server but as soon as I click on a key, minecraft bug and does not answer any more.

Allocate more RAM to the profile in the launcher. It's running out of memory

I have to just select forge in the installation ? and after that in the launcher, give more ram ?
Issue was caused by OptiFine, not ram
