Xray Does not work

Whenever i use xray it just shows the ground. Legit mode is off. Can some one help me?

Mc version? Is opacity mode on? Do you have Optifine, sodium, or fabricapi?

Bit late but I had the same issue and it was fixed by just removing Optifine. If it still occurs after that, try removing the fabric API and or sodium.
