You should try increasing the splash range. I can't see the video anymore but make sure you're not too far from the water both vertically and horizontally.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Do you mean your config was deleted? Nothing from the config affects the Trajectories mod.

I have the same issue, it is caused by resourcepacks I believe. You can disable all but vanilla from the options.txt

edit: why i believe it is the resourcepacks is because disabling the developer pack stopped this error
