how it started:

-installed optifine
-worked well
-accessed shaders, all good
-testing performance, uninstalled optifine
-installed sodium
-restart
-no more shader access
-downloaded Iris shader mod
-remembered phosphate works well w/ shaders
-downloaded Phosphate mod
-tossed those bad boys in mods folder (by their .jars)
