Changed minecraft username, can't use client

I recently changed minecraft username and now I can't use the client. I'd love assistance adjusting this

@miragemaws if you changed your username then Aristois should still work, I would suggest maybe logging in and out of your account in the launcher and restart it after doing so, if that does not work possibly restarting your pc may work.

@ehylo I went to get my login token in game and it said "username not found" or something like that. Can't login to the site to get my paid version
Edit: Tried again and now it let me in after restarting minecraft

This is because after you change your username, you're still logged into the old username (which no longer exists). So after changing it you always need to log out and back in to the Minecraft launcher so it can update the name
