Client-Side NightVision (Not Fullbright!)
-
Currently Aristois supports 'FullBright', which changes your gamma to 1500 (or some other insanely higher number) in the config json. This is absolutely wonderful. Until you use shaders. Then FullBright isn't going to do anything to help you. But there is a solution!
Client-side night-vision is available through other mods like Gamma Utils, and essentially applies the night-vision effect already in Minecraft (AFAIK, maybe it works differently to emulate vanilla nv client-side, unsure.) to you as if you had used a night-vision potion. This has full compatibility with shaders, and allows you to see without having to toggle them on and off while mining.
I could easily see this going under the expanded context menu for FullBright as an alternative method/mode. I understand that it can already be accomplished with Fabric mods like Gamma Utils, but I don't want to have more mods than I already have to maintain with each version, and I can't imagine it's the most difficult feature to add.
